WSAVA Global Community
WSAVA Global Guidelines support companion animal veterinarians by setting minimum standards of care for conditions or issues of global relevance and recommending best practice in each area. They aim to provide clinicians with clear diagnostic and treatment guidelines, wherever in the world they are in practice.
American College of Veterinary Surgeons
Founded in 1965, the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) is the specialty board which sets the standards for advanced professionalism in veterinary surgery. ACVS is the AVMA-recognized veterinary specialty organization™ for certification of veterinarians in large animal surgery and small animal surgery. The ACVS undergoes a comprehensive evaluation by the American Board of Veterinary Specialties (ABVS), a committee of the American Veterinary Medical Association, every three years to ensure that we are maintaining the required standards for our certification process.
Australian Veterinary Association
The Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) is the professional organisation representing veterinarians across Australia since 1921, and our vision is to be the health and welfare leader in Australia’s animal industries.
Veterinary Practitioners Board of New South Wales
The Board is an independent state government statutory corporation. Its responsibilities include registering veterinary practitioners, licensing veterinary hospitals and investigating complaints about the practice of veterinary science in NSW.
